Meet Kat

Kat Rains loves real estate, and it shows! Working with both buyers and sellers is not a job for her—it’s her passion. During Kat’s career, she’s had the good fortune to partner with a variety of clients in all age and economic groups, from long time locals to out of towners. She’s adept at project management and enjoys all the ins and outs of prepping a home for the open market and is equipped to effectively understand the wants and needs of buyers in this competitive environment, thereby successfully getting them into a home that checks all the boxes. She is consistent, intuitive and gives it her all—qualities you want to see in everyone around you, be it personally or professionally.

 

Kat is a member of the San Francisco Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. She's taken her knowledge and expertise a step further and is a proud Certified Probate and Trust Specialist. In order to keep up to date on the ever changing real estate market, she makes a point to educate herself on related industries and events that directly affect housing supply and demand.

 

Kat resides in the Golden Gate Heights neighborhood of San Francisco with her husband, two kids, and their dog. You can find her hard at work at our beautiful West Portal office, taking long walks with her dog, swimming at the Y, cheering on the sidelines at the soccer field or the Track, and spending time with her friends and family.
